Summertime, and the livin' is easy....

As a musician I have been anxiously anticipating my childrens' concerts. Here are some pictures from Lili's music program at Exeter Day School. EDS is one of the few preschools in this area that have a music teacher on staff. Mr. Lassonde does a great job of introducing music, rhythm, movement, and instruments from around the world. He is most notable for wearing a different pair of animal slippers each day, and for his guitar song. "There's a guitar on my head, I think his name is Fred."

Here is Mr. Lassonde introducing Mrs. Tremblay's Rabbit Class. Lili is in the front row wearing a yellow dress.

All the songs were great, but I think we liked the Skunk Song the best.

Lili had the most fans present; Jim and me, Joseph, Eve, Faith, Grammy, Grampy, and Dee.

Summer at our house means the pool on the deck. The triplets are such great climbers that we only use it when Jim and I can both be on hand to keep everyone safe. Here is the first dip of the season.

Notice that Joseph is in motion, doing a cannonball. He's a boy who appreciates a big splash.

Eve and Lili are having great fun.

For some reason, Faith was scared and hid behind a guitar in the living room.
