I am hoping this next school year will be easier. Easier meaning less driving = more time to do all those things I intend to do but don't seem to get to. Including getting the Corn picture BEFORE the corn is harvested.
We are embarking on our first year in public school. The kids are excited. I am nervous. I am hoping that public school today is far more gentle than the tortuous experience I had in the late 70's/early 80's. It is my only frame of reference, and I struggle to remain positive. After all, education has come a long way. And, more importantly, my children are not me. Each one is a unique mix of me, Jim, and their own wonderful selves. Nowhere is this diversity more evident than an examination of Faith and Eve. They like to equate their differences to the TV show "Liv and Maddie".
