I'm feeling a little better today. I brought Lili to the doctor because she was complaining that her ear hurt. (It turned out to be an ear infection.)
It seems like whenever we get into the car, Lili begins one of her stream of consciousness rambles. She can go on for an hour like this. I want to tape her sometime. Here is what I remember from her soliloquy on the way to the doctor's office.
"Mommy, me and Kaia, we're going to make these paper crosses, and they'll be Jesus, and everyone will know, and we'll decorate them with markers and glitter, lots of glitter, and they will be all pretty, and God will know he loves them, and he loves us, and that's how everyone will know we're girls, and God will take our breath, He will take our breath and then we'll make pretty sashes that go from shoulder to waist, to shoulder to waist, to shoulder to waist, and I'll have a yellow house Mommy, it won't be too big, well it will be big but kinda small, just small, and I'll have a playroom and it will be so fun, and you can come over too and play and bring the babies......"
