Eve likes to raise her pony high in the air and say, "Yeeehaw!"
While getting ready for church Lili insisted on finding her own shoes and socks. She came downstairs in her red dress, black shoes, and two different socks; one pink ankle sock, one purple knee sock. When I offered to help her find some matching socks, she proudly stated that she liked the ones she was wearing and they were her, "rainbow socks, short and long."
After being in church and loading into the van, I try to remember to wipe the kids hands. Last Sunday Joe insisted I also wipe his bear's paws.
It is not unusual for Faith as she is squeezing by you to politely say, " 'scuse me, pardon me".
Eve and Faith can wear many of the same clothes, but once they wear one outfit they both recognize that it belongs to that sister. If I try to put them on the other I get complaints. "No, that's Eve's!" "No, that's Faith's!" Here they are in dresses. Faith must have the red print, Eve the red solid.
Faith does quite well saying the Lord's Prayer, and Eve has started to say most of the words as well. Joe pays close attention, and often chimes in with the last word of the phrase a few seconds after everyone else.
"Our Father who art in heaven"
pause
"heaven" (Joe)
"Hallowed be thy name"
pause
"name" (Joe)
